The WSE1216-M8 SS sign standoff includes an M8 threaded stud-cap and a standoff spacer/barrel. It is suitable for sign panels up to 10mm (3/8″) thick and requires 9mm (23/64″) diameter holes drilled into the sign panel. These are solid, durable standoffs machined using #304 grade stainless steel and supplied with a natural brushed stainless finish. They are widely used in various applications across hotels, lobbies, airports, schools, museums, galleries, libraries, and more.
The WSE1216-M8 SS sign standoffs are designed for indoor and outdoor use and can effectively hold signs, logo panels, frameless graphic panels, acrylic poster frames, picture frames, awards, architectural plaques, decorative screens, literature displays, and other accessories made of acrylic, glass, aluminum composites, corian, stone, and more.

Composition and Materials:
For quality and durability, all sign/panel support fittings are machined from high-grade brass or aluminum alloy, or from solid stainless steel #SS201 or #SS304 as standard. Other stainless steel type #SS316 or #SS582 is also available for custom items. Grub screws used for fittings are made of AISI 12L14 Carbon Steel (UNS G12144) and have a plastic tip of Nylon 6-6.
Colors and Finishes:
Brass fittings – are available in stock in standard satin chrome finish. Custom finishes such as polished chrome, polished brass or brushed warm nickel plating are available upon request. Lead times will be longer and a minimum quantity may be required.
Aluminum fittings – are available in stock in standard clear or satin anodized finish.
Stainless steel fittings – are available in stock in standard satin brushed stainless finish. Polished stainless is also available upon request. Lead times will be longer and a minimum quantity may be required.
Product Limitations:
Brass fittings – are rated for indoor use only. They perform well in all closed environments as long as not exposed to direct weathering such as rain, snow, moisture, etc.
Aluminum fittings – are suggested for both interior and exterior use. Other custom finishes such as black or color anodized are available upon request. Lead times will be longer and a minimum quantity may be required.
Stainless steel fittings – stock items are rated for indoor use only. For marine or other high humidity environments, please request stainless steel type 316/582 fittings that have a higher corrosion resistance. Lead times will be longer and a minimum quantity may be required.
